Re: need help for raw data analysis

Hello Claude,

FCS Assistant (shareware) allows you to export raw data from a range
of cytometry files ( the data is scaled to 10 bit for Summit files).
It also calculates ratio and allows you to then calculate a range of
statistics for each time point in a calcium experiment (percent
responding, median, mean, mode, geometric mean, 75th,90th 95th and
user-specified centiles, standard error, CV, SD), exporting the data
as an excel-readable line graph data set.

FCSPress (30 day demo, 99 pounds/149 dollars to buy) lets you plot
these line graphs as well as a range of dot, density and histogram
plots in an intuitive page layout setup.

Both programs can be downloaded from http://www.fcspress.com

The locking software for both programs has been updated recently
(today in the case of FCS Assistant) to get around conflicts with OS9
and G3/G4 computers, if your demo period has run out and you'd like
to try either program again, please request an extension from the
http://www.fcspress.com extended demo form.
