Tami:

Glutaraldehyde Fixed Chicken erythrocytes, get them from Sigma. They're
cheap and one vial will last nearly forever. Given the use of our
Calibur, I check about once every week and a half, or unless a problem
is reported (clog). When I've kept them at room temp, on the bench, I
find that the cv's and fluorescence intensity has actually improved
after about a week.

My great BD service rep simply keeps them at ambient temperature in his
tool kit.

Hope this helps,
David
