Dear flowers, I want to thank all of you,
who send me a message due to my question
about high speed sorting and analysis.

In summary, most of the people answered, were
again MoFlo users. They all seems to be very
happy with their sorter.
I also get answers concerning the FacsVantage Se
with TURBO Sort option. They are lucky with their
sorters as well.
I did not get any email from people using the ALTRA
from Coulter. So, may be, it is still not well established yet
and it is of higher risque to buy this sorter.

Thanks again for all your responses

Andreas

P.S. For this high speed sorter mentioned above,
I decided to buy an Enterprise laser to get a good
UV line and the 488 line.
Unfortenately, some of the last mails claimed that there could be
problems using the UV line of an Enterprise laser and DNA cell
cycle measurements. As I indeed want the make cell cycle
measurements using Hoechst or DAPI as stains, I want to
add the question which lasers are the best choice to get a
goot UV-line and 488 nm line.

Andreas
