A subset of NK cells express low levels of CD8. There are 2 expression
levels of CD56 (bright and brighter) on NK cells. The CD56 bright cells
don't express the KIR receptors (Joe Phillips, DNAX, personal
communication) but otherwise are normal NK cells.
