Dear All,

We have just had a new leukaemic with the following immunophenotype:

Positive for CD19, CD22, CD20, CD10, cCD79a, CD34, HLADR, CD38, CD45, TdT AND cCD3 (the latter is weak positive in comparison to the residual normal cCD3+ cells)

Negative for all other markers including surface CD3, CD7, CD2, CD5 and CD1a. All myeloid markers are negative.

Is this a true biphenotypic leukaemia or a mistake?

Thanks for your help.
