There is at least one such device made by OptoFlow AS - the MICROCYTE.

Stated specifications: 5mW diode laser, 635nm, one avalanche 
photodiode scatter detector, one avalanche photodiode fluorescence 
detector (650 - 900 nm), Battery pack:Internal 12 V, 2.5 Ah, 
rechargeable NiCd battery for 2-3 hours use.
