Dear Flowers, I have recently had a case of common ALL with apparent aberrant glycophorin A (GPA) expression in a subpopulation of blasts. I have been following this patient for minimal residual disease using a number of triple antibody combinations, including CD19/GPA/CD10. In the follow up samples I am not finding any triple positive 'leukaemic' cells but I am finding that a significant number of CD19+ cells are staining with GPA also. What does this mean - am I doing something wrong? I would be grateful for any advice. Regards, Sarah Lawson (isaac.lawson@btinternet.com)
