We've run into analogous situations here and our solution was have two CD burners, one to an IBM the other to an Mac. Then whatever datafiles need to go with that particular platform is then archived that way. So in short, ABI sequencing data and CellQuest data are archived to CD-R via the Mac, and other data, jpgs, elisa, etc. are done via the IBM. That way it can be copied and used on whatever platform, but the original data is intact. If this software you mention can get around this, we'd be interested! Thanks, David =========== David L.
