Flowers, Re: calculating the volume of a drop: A few discrete experts have patted me on the back for finally beginning to figure it out. I will pass the word on to all of you. If you collect the sheath flowing from the stream for, say, 2 minutes, all you need to do is divide that volume by the total number of drops generated in those 2 minutes. And that gives you the volume of a drop. You don't even need to have the drop drive on. Easy peasy (as my kids used to say). Alice Alice L.
