Fellow Cytometry Facility Core Managers

A workshop for us to discuss issues important to managing core cytometry
facilities will be held at the upcoming ISAC meeting in San Diego in
May. As part of this workshop it was proposed to discuss how we are
scheduling time on our machines and how we might make the process even more
efficient - e.g downloading to billing software. I have agreed to open the
discussion with an overview and show what we do with our
commercially-available web-based scheduling (available from Great Hill
Software - note I have no financial interest in this product just use
it). I would like to ask any of you who are doing on-line scheduling to
e-mail me and describe what you do and hopefully given me permission to go
to your site and view your system (i.e. if username/password protected let
me have a temporary access). Hopefully those of you doing this will also
agree to present your system in more detail to the group at the
workshop. I'm sure all of us will benefit from this discussion. Thanks
for your help.
