Guinea Pig IF gamma detection

Hi All, happy new year

I have a friend wishing to detect IF gamma production in guinea pig T-cells. Apparently
there are no commercial antibodies available so he thought of trying to do mRNA detection
in intact cells. I remember trying to do this rather half-heartedly years ago with
horrible background problems. Has anyone had any success doing this? Alternatively does
anyone know of a source of an antibody? He wants a sexy method for a grant proposal,
any other suggestions? I suppose he could extract RNA from sorted cells and do a blot
of some sort, he wanted something more fancy though.

Thanks Simon Monard
