Happy Holidays! I work for a flow cytometer company which is trying to develop convenient and frequently used cell-based assays for neuroscientists. I would be grateful to hear from you if you have experience or thoughts on using a flow cytometer to examine: * Intracellular ion concentrations (e.g. Ca2+, K+, Na+, Cl-) * Membrane potentials * Neurotransmitter release and uptake. Vesicle transportation and release. * Ion channel properties * Protein phosphorylation * Protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions * Signal transduction Any ideas or introductions to useful information on any of the above topics would be highly appreciated. If you have some new ideas, I would love to hear them as well. Thanks a lot. Warmest, Jonathan Wang, Ph.D. (510) 681 3306
