Equine peripheral blood

Hello, everyone:

We're about to undertake a study in horses that will require me to do
phenotypic analysis of peripheral blood cells. I have two questions:

1) We want to look at CD3, CD4, CD8, CD21 (or other B cell marker) and
CD45. I would like to use monclonals directly conjugated to FITC, PE,
etc., but I have not found any so far for equine cells. Do any of you know
of a source?

2) We also want to take a look at activated monocytes. Any ideas about
how to identify a) the monocytes, and b) whether they are activated?

Thanks in advance.

Rick Meister
