The meeting will consist of oral and poster presentations as well as an exciting range of guest speakers who will present the latest advances in life sciences. These include Professor Ken Ghiggino from Melbourne University who will talk on recent developments and applications of fluorescence; Dr Martin Pera from the Monash Institute for Reproduction and Development will present the latest on Embryonic Stem Cells; Dr Dominic Wall from the Centre for Blood Therapies at Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute will present 'Cell Sorters and cell therapies - risks and opportunities'; and Dr Dale Godfrey from Monash Medical School will explain the function of NK T cells in the immune response.
