Dear Jaime, Listmode files (FCS 2.0) are readible on WinMDI without any conversion. CellQuest files derived on Mac, and copied onto a DOS formatted disks works fine in PC programs like WinMDI (Including Flow Explorer). Listmode data previosly backed up onto CD-R(W) on Mac machines are not readible by Windows, if Mac ->PC conversion tools are not installed. My Recommendation of choice in this regard is TransMac (http://www.asy.com). Another point: listmode files created in CellQUEST that were copied somehow on CD (or other) media on a PC machines could not be read back in CellQUEST without prior "swap byte" programs such as FACS Convert, distributed with standard BD equipement. Hope this could help a bit. Cheers! I have a conversion program and I'd try every single possibility but WinMDI refuse to open the files. Many thanks Jaime Sanchez-Dardon Flow Cytometry McGill University
