Hi everyone, in my experience with CD56 FITC (BD) most people who express it do so in the 2nd log range. I have a person who stains with CD56 yielding 2 populations, the regular 2nd log and another one in the 3rd log. I'm using scatter gating and 2 color staining. I repeated the staining to see if it was a contamination or wrong reagent, but I got the same result. (NC stains in the regular semi-bright manner) Is there any described leukocyte with CD56 density THAT high? I would appreciate any feedback on this finding..
