Storage of Lymph Nodes

Please forgive these basic questions from a new flow person regarding the
best way to store lymph nodes for Leukemia/Lymphoma evaluation when the node
comes in late in the day and must be kept for the following morning.  Should
I place the intact node in RPMI or should I go ahead and collect the cells
from the node and place them in RPMI?  Should I then place the node and/or
cells in the refrigerator or leave out at room temperature?  Thank you.
