Many have expressed interest in the Clinical Flow Cytometry course
being given in Montpellier, France, May 6-8. This course is an
intensive review of the most common clinical applications of flow
cytometry. The course will cover diagnosis of acute leukemia and
lymphoproliferative disorders, minimal residual disease detection,
stem cell enumeration, monitoring of immune recovery following bone
marrow transplantation, platelet testing, RBC flow cytometry, PNH
testing, flow cytometric testing in myeloma, neutrophil function
assays, flow cytometric analysis of MDS, and apoptosis. The classes
are small and students are grouped according to experience (beginner
verses advanced and Medical Technologist verses M.D. or Ph.D). Yes
there are still openings but we limit the number of students so that
the learning experience is optimal, and we always sell out way before
the closing date. A deposit will hold your spot until the closing
date. If you are too late in trying to register- you can ask to be
put on the waiting list, in case anyone cancels. The tuition is $600
and covers the course, a syllabus and lunch. To register contact
