Research Flow Cytometry Core Facility Manager/Operator

This position involves overseeing a multi-user research facility. The
core facility consists of two instruments, a FACScan and a high speed
Mo-Flo sorter. Duties will include operation and routine maintenance of
these instruments, scheduling, billing, training investigators in the
operation of the FACScan, keeping track of instrument use, and ordering
supplies. The job also involves interacting with many biomedical
researchers with a variety of applications including flow cytometry,
cell cycle analysis and cell sorting. Prior experience is desirable.
Salary commensurate with experience. The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center is a major research and teaching hospital affiliated with and
close to Harvard Medical School.
