Dear Tessa

Margaret Goodell's lab has an excellent website, with protocols at:

http://www.bcm.tmc.edu/genetherapy/goodell/new_site/index2.html

I believe Margaret and co-workers were the first to indentify side population cells. We
have
been looking at SP cells for over a year now and after a few early inconsitencies now
seem to
have a reliable technique. We have found that it is important to follow the Goodell
protocol
to the letter.

Hope this helps
