Senior Mechanical Engineer DAKO Corporation a leader in the production of reagents for the medical arena is searching for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to assist us with the formation of our Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Instrument Development Group. This position affords unique opportunity for team player to participate in the building and management of DAKO's Instrument Development Group. This group will be responsible for the successful development, launch and ongoing design maintenance of DAKO's various IHC staining instrumentation platforms. Position will direct and coordinate the activities of the development team ensuring that projects meet specifications, is on time and within budget. The candidate must be experience in all phases of instrumentation development and possess a BSME, MSME with 5-10 years experience working in the medical device field or equivalent required, background in biology also a plus. He/She must be proficent in Pro-E, SolidWorks or AutoCAD and have a hands on design approach. Previous success within the medical device field is a plus, knowledge of FDA and International regulatory requirements is a must. Senior Software Engineer DAKO Corporation a leader in the production of reagents for the medical arena is searching for a Sr. Software Engineer to assist us with the formation of our Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Instrument Development Group. This position affords unique opportunity for team player to participate in the building and management of DAKO's Instrument Development Group software capabilities. This group will be responsible for the successful development, launch and ongoing design maintenance of DAKO's various instrumentation platforms. Position will coordinate the activities of the software development team and work with the Project Leader to ensure that software specifications are met and are on time. Candidate must be flexible about being involved in hands on coding, design and architecture of innovative proprietary software applications. Proficiency in VB, C++ or other development programs required. He/she must have 5-10 years experience working in the medical device field or equivalent experience. Previous success within the medical device field and/or a background in biology is a plus. Knowledge of FDA and International regulatory requirements is a must.
