Colleagues in Cytometry: Please link to http://www.cyto.purdue.edu/flowcyt/newbook.htm from where you can view the TOCs of the two newly published volumes in Methods in Cell Biology, Cytometry Vol. 63 and 64. (Just released last week) This is the 3rd edition of this series by Darzynkiewicz, Crissman and Robinson, however, this edition is almost totally new material and is complementary to the previous volumes 41 and 42. For those interested in purchasing them, I have linked the books to both Amazon.com and BarnsandNoble.com for you. On behalf of Drs Darzynkiewicz and Crissman, I would like to thank the cytometry community for their contributions to these works. I believe that the new edition will become a valuable link from cytometry to many areas - for example there are 5 chapters on extracellular matrix and cell migration in tissue, as well as a series of chapters on the Principles of Flow, Laser Scanning, confocal, optics, fluorescence, data analysis, and protein labeling. In addition there are whole sections on experimental and clinical oncology and 4 new chapters on microbiology related cytometry. There are a number of chapters on cell proliferation and apoptosis. Of course there are lots of other chapters - a total of 56. So please check out these latest volumes. here is the link again http://www.cyto.purdue.edu/flowcyt/newbook.htm Best regards Paul Robinson J.Paul Robinson, PhD PH:(765)4940757 Professor of Immunopharmacology Professor of Biomedical Engineering Purdue University FAX:(765)4940517 EMAIL:jpr@flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu WEB: http://www.cyto.purdue.edu
