Re: clinical vs research

At our facility we use both our cytometers(FACScan and FACalibur) for
clinical and research uses. We are, however, a Veterinary facility. We
see no differences in our research and clinical samples. We run bleach and
Coulter Clenz through our systems between projects. The only problem we
have had with running bleach for a very long time is that the filter in the
machine will degrade rapidly with long term bleach exposure-so we just
temporary remove the filter and bypass it.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely
Janet Dow
