Upright scope with closed culture system and 100x objective?

Hi,

This isn't a flow question but perhaps there are some labs out there doing
both flow and fluorescence image analysis.

We will soon receive an upright Leica TCS SP2 microscope and those
investigators who have been using our ACAS (which uses an inverted
microscope) for analysis of viable cells in a closed system with the 100x
oil objective are going to have to find a way to do this with the upright.

So my question: Is anyone doing fluorescence analysis on viable cells using
an upright microscope and the 100x oil objective, i.e., the cells will have
to be upside down on the upper cover glass and the chamber filled with
culture fluid.

If so, did you have to make your culture holder or are there commercially
available systems that will accomplish this? The Bioptechs catalog showsthe
FCS3 which would permit this but I'm not sure if it's in production yet.

Thanks for any help.
