Probes for Macropinocytosis/Receptor mediated endocytosis

I am investigating antigen uptake in murine cells and I am wanting to
use Time vs fluorescence (on a Coulter Elite flow) as the parameters.
The dyes that we are currently using are Lucifer Yellow and
FITC-Dextran, and although these are good indicators of uptake, they
seem to fluoresce in solution so that I cannot discriminate between
active uptake and what is in solution. What I really need is a
membrane impermeable dye that fluoresces once internalised. Does
anyone have any ideas of what other dyes I can use or references (i
have been looking through the Molecular Probes handbook) or what
possible mistakes I could be making.

Thanks
