Dear flowers, I am working with bacteria which are obtained from various contexts that (strangely enough) prevent them to be spinned down efficiently. My samples contain only few bacteria in suspension, and considering that I want to label bacteria with anti-bodies (involving several washing + centrifugation steps) I am desperately looking for an alternative that would help me reducing the loss of bacterial cells after centrifugation. I thought of using minicolumns from Amicon or another supplier but you might have an even better idea that could help me. Has anybody faced a similar problem when treting bacterial samples before a flow analysis? Thanks a lot for your suggestions, Isabelle ********************************************************************* Dr. Isabelle Hautefort Molecular Microbiology Section Institute of Food Research Research Park- Colney Norwich NR4 7UA- UK Tel +44(0)1603 255 391 Fax +44(0)1603 255 076 E-mail: isabelle.hautefort@bbsrc.ac.uk *********************************************************************
