Yes. as part of my PhD work in the laboratory of David Thorley-Lawson. I developed the first monoclonal antibody to LMP1 ( J. Virol 55: 710-720. 1985) and used flow in my characterization of the molecule. It required permeabilization of the cells as the epitope was intracellular, but could be detected in lymphoblastoid cell lines as well as in EBV-positive Burkitt's lymphoma cell lines.
