Dear Akos,

Even when they were on their own, they were very expensive.

What I do is sort exact number (usually 50.000) of alignment beads using
CloneCyt or just Counter mode in a FACS tube and then add the sample in.
That's how I check numbers of cells sorted and double check the recoveries.

This correlates very well with TruCount tubes and more/less with what users
count on microscope (same as with TruCount). Problem is that it has to be
made fresh and that there could be a few doublets biasing towards lower
calculated number.

It virtually doesn't cost anything, I just hope you can find a sorter
nearby.
