Greetings to all you flowers In regards to adoptive transfer of sorted cells to animals, can anyone tell me why I don't have to worry about the MAbs left on the surface of the sorted cells? I have always presumed that they were of no consequence, and aside from a couple of washes, the sorted cells could be injected straight into recipients. I have no reason to suspect they are a problem, except from a theoretical point of view, it would seem to me that foreign antibodies on the surface of transferred cells might hurry their removal from the recipient. What does the rest of the world do with their sorted cells prior to transfer? I have found no mention of any special efforts in the literature... Thanks Matt Wikstrom Lotteries Flow Cytometry Unit Perth, Australia.
