FLOW CYTOMETRY TECHNOLOGIST The VA San Diego Healthcare System is seeking an experienced flow cytometry operator with an extensive background in immunophenotyping of leukemia, lymphoma and congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies. Proficiency is required in all immunostaining preparations and three/four color analysis using FACScan and FACSCalibur cytometers. The successful candidate for this position will possess a Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science degree. A background in Cell Biology or Immunology and 2 years experience in flow cytometry is strongly desired as well as a strong understanding of flow cytometry theory and principle.
