I wish I could announce that our lab has the Cyclin D1 assay up and running routinely by flow as part of our chronic LPD panel but unfortunately, depsite helpful suggestions we couldn't get the Pharmingen FITC antisera working and have dubious results with the Dako antibody by APAAP. I see that there was a poster at the recent ASH meeting on Cyclin D1 by flow from Catovsky's group at the Marsden in London so hopefully all is about to be revealed when it is published. We have certainly had a number of cases of possible mantle cell lymphomas when it would have been a useful adjunct. As I am about to leave this job after 17 years of immunophenotyoing leukaemias and lymphoma , I just want to publically thank Steve Kellley and Paul Robinson for running this email group which has been invaluable to our group over the years. Thanks also to the participants who have answered my various queries.
