We have used antibodies raised against milk fat globule membranes for
luminal epithelial cells and CD10 (CALLA) for myoepithelial cells in the
rat breast ( Antibodies to cell surface associated antigens distinguishing
luminal epithelial and myoepithelial cells in the rat mammary gland. R.S.
Mahendran, M.J. O'Hare, M.G. Ormerod, P. Monaghan, P.A.W. Edwards, R.A.J.
McIlhinney and B.A. Gusterson. J. Cell Science 94, 545-552 (1989)).

In humans, we have used CD10 for myoepithelial cells and anti-epithelial
membrane antigen for the luminal cells (Characterisation in vitro of
luminal and myoepithelial cells isolated from the human breast by cell
sorting using antibodies to EMA and CALLA. M.J. O'Hare, M.G. Ormerod, B.A.
Gusterson, P. Monaghan. Differentiation 46, 209-221 (1991)).
