There is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, progressive flow cytometry manager at Hackensack University Medical Center at the Special Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory. Responsibilities include overseeing the institution of new assays, interacting with various clinical departments in research endeavors, meticulous quality control, as well as administrative and personnel responsibilities. The candidate must have at least five years of productive management experience, be able to easily operate or easily transition to the operation of a Coulter XL cytometer and a Coulter Elite cell sorter and be comfortable with overseeing the institution of molecular diagnostic techniques. The Special Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory serves as a support to the third largest stem cell transplant service on the east coast. We have made a commitment to provide prompt service for samples received from all parts of the United States. In addition we are committed to multidisciplinary education and performance improvement. The Special Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory is also a national referral laboratory for neutrophil studies and a regional referral laboratory for the assay of specific immunoglobulin E by the CAP system.
