Thanks in advance for the information. Works great. I have been sorting practically every day since we got the ALTRA Hypersort up and running since mid august and havent had any major problems as of yet. I generate a droplet frequency of around 90-95 K and sort routinely anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 cells per second. Purity is quite impressive. There are more than a few occasions where the reanalysis is 99.9 or 99.5% (no kidding!). With respect to recovery, the numbers the counters say I have seem to accurately reflect what the users are counting after I give them back the sorted populations and mirror what would be expected based on starting population values and gated subpopulations. Most impressive is the stability of the system, can sort many hours with little if no adjustments necessary and have not had any major clogs (well one real bad one... let's be real ) that could not be rapidly "declogged'. I will be evaluating complex multicolor laser excitation high speed sorting in the near future, and will be able to report on the performance of the Altra in this mode.
