Hi Yuri, I'm not sure that you can get 7.1 directly, you can download 7.0.1 from <ftp://ftp.info.euro.apple.com/binhex/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/ US/Macintosh/System/Older_System/System_7.0.x/> there is also a directory with a 7.1.x update (I don't know if it updates to or from 7.1.x though) <ftp://ftp.info.euro.apple.com/binhex/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/ US/Macintosh/System/Older_System/For_System_7.1.x/> Have you tried talking to an apple dealer? They might have some old discs lying around, and should definitely be able to make you some. Which model of macintosh do you need the discs for? I might be able to help you directly if I have a similar model. Depending on what you mean by clean install, you might need to re-install some of your application software as well (or at least replace their preferences and extensions). I'd recommend backing up your system folder just in case (minus the system and finder), you should also make a note of your internet (MacTCP) and other machine-specific settings. If you are in the US, the ftp server you need is ftp://ftp.info.apple.com , and you don't need "/binhex" in the pathname.
