My question about translation of the long list of BD idiosyncratic keywords (BD$WORDn) was answered usefully by Ray Hicks. He reminded me tactfully that a discussion on this subject had taken place about 18 months ago. The best answer is that, at that time, Chris Groves had called attention to a program (DropPrint written by Ted Kunich) that is available free on Eric Martz's web site (http://www.bio.umass.edu/mcbfacs/flowcat.html). DropPrint seems to be, on first glance, just the ticket. Thanks to Ted, Chris, and Ray (in that order!). And thanks to Paul Robinson and Steve Kelley for organizing this network of helpful and patient people! Alice Alice L.
