Dear Flow friends, I have been very quite for a while in the list since I
am organizing a flow cytometry course for PhD students and Postdoctoral
fellows from UniZurich. I come with some topics for the course as I listed
them. Moreover, I would like to ask for some help in order to compile
reviews and original articles that will be usefull for the participants and
that I will include in the handouts. If you can provide me with some clues
about them or original reprints that I can attach I would be very thankful.
Of course everybody will receive the credit and it may be possible that I
can get some fonds for invite some guys for a lecture and of course a nice
tour for the nice city of Zurich and an evening on the lake.

Topics of the course
i) Flow Cytometry instruments
ii) Probes use in cytometry (Molecular and cellular)
iii) Handling of samples
iv) Surface analysis-Immunophenotyping-multicolour analysis
v) intracellular antigens
vi) DNA Analysis
vii) Studies of cell function-live/dead analysis-apoptosis
viii) Intracellular organelles-Mitochondria function
ix) Reporters gene expression-GFP/B-Gal
x) Special applications in Parasitology/Virology/Bacteriology
xi) Software for data analysis-Cellquest/FLOWjo/WinDi
Thanks in advance and cheers
Rafael

Ps. I will be very please and looking forward to include Howard's song
about the multiple 23+ color technics form Mario in a nice duo a capella.
My 0.02 cents.
Rafael
