Deadlines are near, so don't miss them for the 14th Annual Clinical Applications of Cytometry Meeting September 26-29, 1999 in beautiful Palm Springs, CA, sponsored by the Clinical Cytometry Society (CCS). Abstracts are due July 15th and if you are a person in training don't forget to write on the abstract that you would like to be considered for one of the Young Investigator Awards (cash awards and a brief moment of fame!). Registrations postmarked by July 26th are an affordable $425 (Students $175 and exhibitors $300), but increase July 27 to $550 (students $275). The program includes lectures on the new and important aspects of clinical cytometry by many noted experts, insights into emerging technologies and applications, luncheon workshops providing succinct summaries of flow cytometry and image analysis applications, commercial tutorials and exhibits showcasing all the latest instrumentation and reagents, and mutiple posters presentations and social events allowing participants to time to talk with presentors, exhibitors, and old friends. As if that isn't enough, pre-meeting activities include a Workshop on Quantitative Cytometry presented by the Center for Quantitative Cytometry on Saturday, September 25, and the ever popular Course in Clinical Cytometry providing small group, hands on training in clinical cytometry given by experts in the field during September 24-26.
