Hola todo mundo,

I have a problem with our FACScan here, it suddently started to show weird
numbers on thes Frontpanel Display, and you cannot connect from the Mac
anymore to the machine (BDPac Status: undefined BDPac Int.).
The numbers on the Frontpanel lack digits or show suddenly characters in
the PMT Voltages. They change if one presses the buttons on the Frontpanel
diplay, but towards other strange numbers. Also the Standby and Ready
lights are lit both at the same time, as well as two of the Compensation
Labels.

Anybody any idea what's wrong ? I guess it's the status board thats no
doing is job allright, or is there any 'reset' switch/trick for the machine
or the status board ? I already checked the BD Mac Card and reset it but it
doesn't change. I also removed/reseated all the cards - restarted the
machine - no change.

Bueno any help would be very appreciated, because flying in a service
engineer is expensive here in Portugal, and if it's just the card, I'd
prefer to diagnose it myself... just want to make sure I order the right
one...

Thanks as usual...

Greetings from the sun..

Matthias
