Wayne, For "Yosemite" (blue & white) G3s running MacOS 8.5.1, you need FileGuard Remote version 3.2.1. You can check ASD's web page <http://www.asdsoft.com/Products/FG/FGComp.html> to see if a version is available that will run on MacOS 8.6. In general, a new version of FileGuard is required with each new version of the MacOS. MacOS 8.5.1 was released December 7, 1998; FileGuard Remote 3.2.1 was released sometime in March, 1999. MacOS 8.6 was just released in late April or early May... it may be a while before the new compatible version of FileGuard is released. WARNING! Installing previous versions of FileGuard Remote on a Yosemite G3 with MacOS 8.5.1 will corrupt your hard disk -- requiring it to be reformatted -- if you enable disk protection!
