Cell Cycle analysis

Dear Flowers...

We've been working with an investigator at our facility whose
specimens are driving us a little bonkers. She is trying to do cell cycle
analysis (via PI staining) of ATCC HTB 17 cells which ATCC describes as a
hypotriploid glioblastoma, astrocytoma, grade III, human. A karyotype of her
cell line showed 6 different populations with both multiple trisomys and
numerous translocations appearing at different locations in each population.
If anyone has had experience working with this cell line or something
similar, or if anyone just has some suggestions, I would love to get a
little advice on how to accurately look at their cell cycle analysis. Many
thanks in advance and best wishes.
