TO BE TRAINED IN BD VANTAGE SORTING
Great Opportunity for a new graduate. Candidate will learn operation of the
FACS Vantage and FACS Calibur including calibration, alignment, maintenance,
sorting, and problem-solving. 

Requires at least a BS degree.  Two years previous experience in research is
preferred.  One to two years experience with flow cytometry a plus.

Once trained, the individual will provide training to researchers in the
operation of equipment and establish management procedures for the storage of
data.  

The Institute for Cellular Therapeutics (www.louisville.edu/org/ict) is a NEW
broad based multidisciplinary research institution conducting basic and
clinical research into the development and application of cellular component
(e.g. bone marrow or peripheral blood components) transplantation as therapy
for a number of disease processes. Facilities are extensive and include flow
cytometry and molecular biology cores.  In September the ICT will move to a
new state of the art research building on the campus of the University of
Louisville.  Our new facility will feature 3 BD Vantage sorters and 3 BD
FacsCaliburs.  This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic and
interactive research team.
