Dear Flow Experts (which I am not), I am looking for antibodies for generally immunophenotyping of dog and cat samples. I have acquired directly conjugated antibodies for CD4 and CD8 for both species, but I would like some information about other antibodies, particularly those that would be useful as pan-T and pan-B cell markers. I have tried the Linscotts but most of the few vendors with dog and cat antibodies sell purified antibodies. It would be much more convenient for us to have conjugated antibodies as we would like to work in a no-wash, whole-blood system. We are also interested in setting up lymphocyte blastogenesis assays. Any information on techniques that work for isolating lymphocytes in these species, or about benefits of using a flow-based assay over a colorometric assay would be appreciated.
