First, thank you for providing a very rich networking resource. And then I have a question. I've been searching the literature for information on the use of FISH and immunolabeling for studying co-localized protein and RNA expression. I have found some sources indicating that this is do-able. I'm wondering, though, what the level of resolution would be using a confocal scope instead of flow cytometry. (We'd like to look at a surface protein, in conjunction with RNA expression, in adherent cells or tissue preparations.) I realize many subscribers to this list have significant imaging and visualization experience beyond flow cytometry, and I'm hoping someone will be able to fill me in or direct me to an appropriate source. Thank you in advance, Kimberly Sipe University of Kentucky Dept. of Anatomy and Neurobiology Lexington, KY
