Hi everyone, A few months ago, I had asked a question about eosinophils on this newsgroup. I was trying to distinguish eosinophils from neutrophils. I want to thnak everyone who answered. Your suggestyions were very helpful. Here's a synopsis: Clone gr-1 (Ly6-G) from Pharmingen/BD stains both eosinophils and neutrophils. Eos are high side scatter PBMC's, you can differentiate them from Neutrophils with the clone 7/4 from Biosource. However, keep in mind that 7/4 works only on some strains of mice (like C57BL/6) and not on others (like Balb/c). Another researcher says that you can also use a combination of MAC1 and F480. The eosinophils are MAC 1 dim and F480 bright. Howvere, can someone tell me whast F480 is against, and where can I get it from? Dr. Meenakshi Roy Stanford University
