IFN gamma

IFN-gamma was the first (I believe) cytokine to be examined by flow by
Dave Ferrick and co-workers:
(Nature 1995 Jan 19;373(6511):255-7

Differential production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-4 in
response to Th1- and Th2-stimulating pathogens by gamma delta
T cells in vivo.

I think that people will find that they get much better responses from
the list members if they ask better (ie more specific and more informed)

questions. While there is no substitute for personal experience, its
probably helpful to check out the literature in a field first, then ask
about what protocol's and positive controls perople use, etc. More and
more, I think, people are using this list instead of the library.

I have been wondering if we could compile some FAQ files (and weblinks)
as a mechanism to point people in the right direction and to share the
weallth of knowledge represented by this community. Anyone interested ?
