Competition between fibrinogen and PAC-1

Hi Flowers

I am experiencing some problems with PAC-1 antibody and hope somebody can
give me a clue. We are using a model for CPB (cardio pulmonary bypass) and
we expected PAC-1 to increase over a period of time. Instead we se a
decrease in the expression of PAC-1. In the model we use whole blood, so I
have been wondering if fibrinogen and trombospondin would compete with the
PAC-1 antibody. The antibody works well in my positiv control, here I
incubate platelets with both antibody and thrombin at the same time.

Is there anybody who have got any ideas what this could be?
