I recently was told of a technique involving analysis for antibody staining of no-washed and then washed cells from a leukemia analysis. The particular set-up used PB, a Coulter Q-Prep, and a panel from a patient with leukemia was analyzed. Some specific results (CD19+CD5+) were confirmed after washing. The conversion of a positive result to negative after washing was considered significant. Can anyone familar with the clinical singificance of this technique provide any background. Thanks! Tim Farley
