Two things (one flow-related, one less so)... First, the Hospital for Special Surgery Flow Cytometry Core Facility has a new web site. Point your browser to http://www.hss.edu/research/flow/index.htm. The site has full facility details as well as plenty of sample data and other interesting bits. Second, I have a resume from Dr. Alexander Y. Yemelyanov, a young Russian immunologist who is searching for a postdoctoral position in the United States. He received his Ph.D. from the Russian State Medical University, studying the effects of low molecular weight collagen peptides on lymphocyte function and subsequent effects on inflammation. He has a broad background in immunology, biophysics and mathematical biology, and is seeking a postdoctoral position in any area of cellular or molecular immunology. He is experienced in many aspects of experimental immunology, including flow cytometry and cell sorting. His fluency in English is excellent and he has participated in several training programs and conferences in both Europe and the United States. He comes highly recommended by friends of mine in the Moscow biomedical research community. If you want more information,e-mail me (not the list) at telfordw@hss.edu and I will send you his C.V.
