FLOW CYTOMETRY CORE FACILITY OPERATOR/MANAGER
Position available as manager/operator of the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center
Flow Cytometry Core Facility which serves the entire research community of
Northwestern University. In addition to offering access to routine flow
cytometric testing, the facility's mission is to offer access for all
researchers to more complicated state of the art flow cytometric testing. As
such, the individual filling this position is involved in experimental
design, instrument operation as well as data analysis and interpretation.
Taking a leading role in one or more projects is expected. Experience with
multiple laser (2 or more) and sorting techniques is required. Candidates
are expected to have extensive experience in flow cytometry instrumentation
and applications, strong problem solving skills, and good communication
skills. Computer networking experience would be helpful. Northwestern
